ScienceDirect merupakan laman web yang mengandungi akses kepada lebih 12 juta kandungan dari lebih 3,500 jurnal akademik dan 34,000 e-buku.[2][3] Dimiliki oleh Elsevier, laman web ini yang menyediakan akses langganan kepada pangkalan data terutama berkaitan penyelidikan saintifik dan perubatan. Kandungan laman web ini dikategorikan ke dalam empat bahagian utama iaitu: Sains Fizikal dan Kejuruteraan, Sains Hayat, Sains Kesihatan dan Sains Sosial dan Kemanusiaan
Latar belakang
Operasi penuh oleh syarikat penerbitan Belanda, Elsevier. Ia dilancar pada Mac 1997. [4]
