Samah

Samah adalah gelaran (etnik) yang diberikan kepada suku kaum Bajau yang mendiami kawasan barat negeri Sabah. Bagaimana pun majoriti suku Samah terdapat di Kota Belud, Tuaran, Likas, Petagas, Putatan, Ketiau, Kinarut, Beringgis, Kawang, Pengalat Besar dan Pengalat Kecil di Papar sehingga ke Kota Ayangan, Keningau. Pada dasarnya gelaran Samah sinonim dengan gelaran kaum Bajau Pantai Barat sehingga mereka menggelarkan diri sebagai Bajausamah atau Bajau Samah bagi mengkelompokkan kumpulan etnik penutur Samah Pantai Barat di Sabah.
