Sala

Sala ialah nama buah mempelam yang banyak ditanam oleh petani secara komersil di beberapa kawasan di Perlis termasuk Chuping dan Bilai Udoh. Buah mempelam Sala dipasarkan oleh Lembaga Pemasaran Pertanian Persekutuan (FAMA) bagi membantu para petani agar lebih menguntungkan dan tidak terlalu murah dibeli oleh orang tengah.

Menteri Besar Perlis Datuk Seri Dr Md Isa Sabu mahu Sala dinamakan sebagai "Perlis Sunshine" bagi tujuan eksport seperti ke Singapura dan Indonesia.[1]
