Rentapia ialah genus kodok sebenar, keluarga Bufonidae.[2][3] Ia endemik dari Asia Tenggara dan ditemukan di Semenanjung Melayu (termasuk semenanjung paling selatan Thailand), Borneo dan Sumatera.[2] Ia ditubuhkan pada 2016 untuk menyelesaikan masalah polifili Pedostibes.[1][2]

Etimologi

Epitet genusnya diberikan bagi menghormati pahlawan legenda Iban, Libau Rentap, "seorang ketua perang yang hebat, pejuang kebebasan, dan wira negara Malaysia."[1]

Ekologi

Rentapia dewasa kebanyakannya arboreal dan hidup di tumbuh-tumbuhan riparian di sekitar aliran hutan kecil hingga sederhana. Telur-telurnya kecil dan berpigmen dan keluar dalam bentuk untaian.[1]

Rentapia rugosa yang diakui sebelumnya merupakan sinonim bagi R. everetti.[2]
