RSS Chieftain

RSS Chieftain merupakan sebuah kapal selam Tentera Laut Republik Singapura. RSS Chieftain dibina di dermaga kapal Kockums AB di Karlskrona, Sweden dan dilancarkan pada 28 Mei 1999 bagi mempertahankan Singapura daripada serangan musuh. RSS Chieftain diserahkan kepada tentera laut Singapura pada 23 Mei 2001 di limbungan kapal Kockums di Kariskrona, Sweden.

RSS Chieftain merupakan kapal selam Kelas Sea Serpent yang dibina dalam tahun 1960an untuk Tentera Laut Sweden.

RSS Chieftain mempunyai 6 tiub torpedo dan mempunyai mod senyap ultra untuk membolehkannya bergerak tanpa dikesan melalui hidrofon.
