Sejarah

Quora diasaskan oleh Adam D'Angelo (bekas ketua pegawai teknikal di Facebook) dan Charlie Cheever. D'Angelo keluar dari Facebook pada Januari 2010 untuk mencipta Quora[1] dan berkata bahawa beliau mendapat inspirasi untuk membuat Quora kerana beliau berpendapat bahawa[2] "banyak sekali laman soalan dan jawapan di Internet, tetapi tidak ada yang cukup bagus". Pangkalan pengguna Quora berkembang dengan pesat pada Disember 2010.[3] Pada Mac 2010, Quora menerima modal dari Benchmark Capital sekaligus memberikan nilai pemula bernilai 86 juta dolar.[4]
