Prockiopsis ialah genus tumbuhan berbunga yang tergolong dalam keluarga Achariaceae.[1]

Ia berasal dari Madagaskar.[1]

Nama genus Prockiopsis adalah untuk menghormati Christian Leberecht von Prøck (1718–1780), seorang baron Denmark. Beliau berkhidmat sebagai Gabenor Jeneral bagi jajahan Danish West Indies dari 1756–1766.[2] Ia pertama kali diterangkan dan diterbitkan dalam Bull. Mens. Soc. Linn. (Paris) Vol.1 pada halaman 573 pada tahun 1886.[1]
