Prisma
Prisma ialah suatu unsur lutsinar optik dengan permukaan digilap rata yang membias cahaya. Sekurang-kurangnya dua daripada permukaan ini perlu ada suatu sudut di antaranya yang bergantung kepada penggunaan prisma tersebut.
Jenis
Prisma penyerak
Prisma ini digunakan untuk menyerakkan cahaya kepada warna-warna konstituennya disebabkan indeks pembiasan frekuensi yang pelbagai.
Prisma pemantul
Prisma ini memantul cahaya untuk menterbalikkan, memaling mahupun memsongkan arah sinaran cahaya.
Prisma pengutub
Ia membahagikan suatu sumber cahaya itu kepada komponen-komponen yang berbeza kekutuban dan biasanya diperbuat daripada suatu bahan habluran berdwibiasan (birefringent crystalline)
