Julat Paradoxurus

Paradoxurus ialah genus tiga jenis musang pulut dalam keluarga viverrid yang dinamakan dan julung kali digambarkan oleh Frédéric Cuvier pada 1822.[3] Spesies Paradoxurus ini mempunyai kepala yang lebar, muncung yang sempit dengan rinarium besar beralur dalam di tengah. Telinganya besar dan bulat di hujung. Ekornya hampir sama panjang dengan kepala dan tubuhnya.[4]

Tiga spesiesnya adalah musang pulut, musang pulut emas dan musang pulut perang.[1]
