Para api atau penyangga kayu unggun, ialah sejenis penyangga pendakap yang biasanya berpasangan, tempat kayu api dibiarkan terbakar di perapian terbuka supaya udara dapat beredar di bawah kayu, menghasilkan pembakaran yang lebih baik dan kurang asap. Ia menghalang kayu daripada tergolek ke ruangan dan sesuai dijadikan hiasan.
