Panglima

Panglima adalah gelaran tentera yang digunakan di negara-negara melayu (contohnya Indonesia, Malaysia). Ia bermaksud 'pemerintah sesebuah pasukan tentera'.[1] Pada masa lalu ia digunakan untuk memanggil beberapa pemimpin tentera terkenal di beberapa jajahan, seperti Panglima Polem dari Aceh dan Panglima Hitam dari Semenanjung Tanah Melayu. Pada zaman moden ia dikhaskan untuk ketua-ketua angkatan tentera Indonesia dan Malaysia dan beberapa jawatan kanan tentera yang lain.
