Pal

Pal ialah istilah nautika yang merujuk kepada sudut bawah layar yang menghadap angin, dan juga sisi kapal yang menghadap angin (sisi dari mana angin datang semasa berlayar—pal kiri atau kanan). Secara amnya, sesebuah kapal berada dalam pal kanan jika angin datang dari sisi kanan kapal dengan layar di sisi kiri. Sebaliknya, kapal berada dalam pal kanan jika angin datang dari sisi kiri kapal.
