Notonectidae ialah sebuah keluarga serangga akuatik kosmopolitan dalam order Hemiptera, yang dikenali umum sebagai pelala disebabkan kelakuannya yang berenang terbalik atau "melala". Mereka semua adalah pemangsa dan selalunya berukuran antara 0.5 hingga 1.5 cm (0.2–0.6 in) panjang.[1]
