NetBSD

NetBSD adalah sistem pengendalian serasi UNIX versi sumber terbuka BSD yang pertama diedarkan secara percuma. Keluaran formalnya ialah NetBSD 0.8 pada Mei 1993.

NetBSD dan FreeBSD dihasilkan daripada UCB 4.3BSD asal melalui terbitan Networking/2 dan 386BSD. OpenBSD merupakan 'forked' daripada NetBSD pada akhir 1995. Keluaran semasa NetBSD adalah versi 3.1 (Disember 2006).

NetBSD telah dicambahkan ke dalam pelbagai seni bina. Cogan kata NetBSD adalah "Sudah tentu ia dijalankan oleh NetBSD". Kod perduaan untuk melebihi 58 seni bina dibina daripada pokok kod sumber yang tunggal, jadi ciri tambahan (yang tidak merujuk kepada perkakasan tertentu) boleh digunakan untuk semua platfom tanpa perlu dicambahkan.
