Mouseion

Mouseion (Bahasa Yunani Kuno: Μουσεῖον τῆς Ἀλεξανδρείας, Latin: Musaeum Alexandrinum "Perpujaan Mousai Iskandariah") adalah sebuah institusi diasaskan oleh Ptolemaios si Penyelamat atau mungkin puteranya Ptolemaios si Pesumbang mencakupi Perpustakaan Iskandariah.[1] Pada awalnya, ia tempat pembelajaran musik atau syair, sebuah sekolah falsafah dan perpustakaan seperti tempat perguruan Plato, yang juga merupakan gudang teks-teks.
