Metatomarctus ialah satu genus pupus bagi Borophaginae dan kanin darat yang mendiami kebanyakan Amerika Utara semasa peringkat Hemingford Awal bagi epok Miosen yang hidup pada 23.0—5.3 jtl, wujud selama hampir-hampir 17.7 juta tahun[1]
