Merlin (Jawi: مرلين) ialah seorang ahli sihir dalam legenda Arthur. Beliau pertama kali muncul melalui bukti tertulis dalam Historia Regum Britanniae karya Geoffrey of Monmouth dan ditulis berdasarkan gabungan beberapa tokoh sejarah dan legenda. Geoffrey menggabungkan cerita-cerita mengenai Myrddin Wyllt (Merlinus Caledonensis) yang tidak ada hubungan dengan Raja Arthur dengan cerita-cerita Ambrosius Aurelianus untuk membentuk watak yang dinamakan Merlin Ambrosius.
Versi Geoffrey menjadi terkenal dan ditambah penulis-penulis lain kemudiannya. Secara tradisi, beliau dilahirkan dari ayah jin dan ibu manusia, dan mendapat kekuatan sihirnya daripada kacukan keduanya.
