Mathcore ialah subgenre hardcore punk dan metalcore yang dipengaruhi oleh post-hardcore, metal ekstrem dan math rock yang dibangunkan pada tahun 1990-an. Kugiran dalam genre ini menekankan irama yang kompleks dan turun naik melalui penggunaan tandatangan masa yang tidak teratur, polimeter, sinkopasi dan perubahan tempo.
