Luc Paul Maurice Besson (Perancis: [lyk bɛsɔ̃]; lahir 18 Mac 1959) ialah seorang pengarah, penerbit dan penulis skrip Perancis.[1] Beliau mengarahkan dan menerbitkan filem Subway (1985), The Big Blue (1988), dan Nikita (1990). Besson berkaitan dengan pergerakan filem Cinéma du look. Beliau telah dicalonkan untuk Anugerah César untuk Pengarah Terbaik dan Filem Terbaik untuk Léon: The Professional dan The Messenger: The Story of Joan of Arc. Beliau memenangi Pengarah Terbaik dan Pengarah Perancis Terbaik untuk filem cerekanya The Fifth Element (1997). Beliau menulis dan mengarahkan filem aksi cereka sains 2014 Lucy dan filem opera angkasa 2017 Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets.[2]

Pada tahun 1980, beliau menubuhkan syarikat penerbitannya Les Films du Loup, dan kemudiannya Les Films du Dauphin, yang didahului pada 2000 oleh syarikat filem EuropaCorp yang ditubuhkan bersama Pierre-Ange Le Pogam. Sebagai penulis, pengarah dan penerbit, Besson telah menghasilkan sebanyak 50 filem.[3]
