Kod bait Java

Kod bait Java ialah set arahan bagi mesin maya Java (JVM). Setiap arahan terdiri daripada opkod yang bersaiz satu bait dan mungkin diikuti oleh kendalian (operand).[1] Tidak kesemua 256 opkod digunapakai, di mana 51 daripadanya disimpan untuk kengunaan masa depan dan 3 lagi disimpan secara kekal untuk digunakan oleh pelaksanaan JVM.

Contoh

Sebagai contoh, kod Java berikut:
