Beliau kini muncul di dalam siri TV Mad Men. Beliau lebih dikenali menerusi watak Cadence Flaherty di dalam American Wedding (2003).
Beliau juga menjadi watak utama di dalam Love's Enduring Promise. Jones memegang watak anak kepada peladang dan jatuh cinta kepada seorang lelaki misteri yang telah menyelamatkan ayahnya.
Jones diletakkan di tangga ke-82 oleh majalah Maxim menerusi Hot 100 Women of 2002.[1]
Peribadi
Jones wdilahirkan dan dibesarkan di Sioux Falls, Minnehaha County, South Dakota. Beliau dinamakan sempernah watak January Wayne, Once Is Not Enough.[2] Beliau pernah memasuki Sekolah Tunggu Roosevelt di Sioux Falls.
Jones pernah mempunyai hubungan dengan Ashton Kutcher sejak 1998-2001. Beliau juga terbabit dalam hubungan dengan Josh Groban (2003-2006).[3]
