James the Less ( Yunani: Ἰάκωβος ὁ μικρός Iakōbos ho mikros) ialah tokoh agama Kristian awal . Dia juga dipanggil "Yang Kecil", "Yang Kecil", "Yang Kecil", atau "Yang Muda", menurut terjemahan, Yakobus digelar "Yang Kurang" untuk membezakannya daripada Rasul Yakobus Yang Agung (juga dipanggil "Yakobus". The Elder") dengan "Kurang" bermaksud lebih muda atau lebih pendek, bukannya kurang penting. James the Great ialah saudara kepada Rasul Yohanes .
James the Less secara tradisinya telah diperingati bersama St. Philip dalam kalendar Kristian Barat . Di Gereja Roman Katolik, hari perayaan mereka disambut pada 1 Mei hingga 1955, apabila ia dipindahkan ke 11 Mei untuk menampung Perayaan St Joseph the Worker pada 1 Mei.
