Irenodendron adalah sebuah genus yang terdiri daripada tiga spesies semak dan pokok dalam keluarga willow Salicaceae yang berasal dari utara Amerika Selatan.[1] Spesies-spesies ini sebelum ini dianggap sebagai bahagian dalam genus Laetia dalam keluarga Flacourtiaceae,[2] tetapi genus Laetia dan saudara-saudaranya telah dipindahkan ke Salicaceae berdasarkan analisis data DNA.[3] Irenodendron kemudian dihipotesiskan lebih dekat hubungannya dengan genus Ryania, Trichostephanus, dan Piparea disebabkan oleh kehadiran gaya yang terbahagi di hujung, dan kayu dengan kayu hati gelap dan sinar besar; ia berbeza daripada genus-genus tersebut dengan memiliki bracts berbentuk cawan di bawah bunga dan kekurangan staminodes.[1]
