Hello merupakan sapaan dalam bahasa Inggeris. Ia pertama kali muncul dalam bentuk bertulis sejak 1833.

Kegunaan pertama

Hello, dengan ejaan tersebut, telah digunakan dalam penerbitan seawal 1833. Ini termasuk dalam buku Amerika tahun 1833 berjudul The Sketches and Eccentricities of Col. David Crockett, of West Tennessee,[1] which was reprinted that same year in The London Literary Gazette.[2]

Perkataan ini digunakan secara meluas dalam kesasteraan pada 1860-an.[3]
