Halmahera (juga digelar Jilolo atau Gilolo) adalah pulau terbesar di kepulauan Maluku yang terletaknya di provinsi Maluku Utara, Indonesia.
Halmahera meliputi keluasan tanah seluas 17,780 km² (6,865 batu persegi) dan mempunyai sekitar 162,728 orang penduduk pada 1995. Pada 1997, sekitar 80% penduduk adalah Muslim, dan bakinya 20% adalah Kristian.
