Gradle ialah sebuah sistem pengautomatan pembinaan bersumber terbuka yang menggunakan bahasa domain khusus (DSL) berasaskan Groovy.
Contoh projek Java
Projek Java menggunakan Gradle yang paling ringkas mempunyai struktur direktori yang sama seperti Maven, iaitu src/main/java, src/main/resources, src/test/java dan src/test/resources.
Secara lalai, fail pembina (build file) gradle dinamakan build.gradle dan contoh DSL untuk projek Java yang ringkas adalah seperti berikut:
