Wouter "Wally" De Backer (lahir 21 Mei 1980) atau lebih dikenali dengan nama pentasnya Gotye adalah seorang pemuzik dan penyanyi-penulis dari Australia lagu.
Single tahun 2011 " Somebody That I Used to Know " mencapai tangga nombor satu di carta Billboard Hot 100, menjadikan beliau artis asal Australia kelima mendapat kejayaan ini;[2] lagu ini turut memenangi kategori Persembahan Pop Duo / Kumpulan Terbaik Anugerah Grammy Tahunan ke-55 selain kategori-kategori Rekod Terbaik Tahunan dan Album Muzik Alternatif Terbaik tahun 2013. Beliau turut telah memenangi lima Anugerah ARIA serta dicalonkan kategori persembahan Asia Pasifik dalam acara Anugerah Muzik Eropah MTV 2011 .
