Garison
Garison (pelbagai ejaan) (dari bahasa Perancis garnison, dari kata kerja garnir, "untuk melengkapkan") adalah istilah kolektif bagi sekumpulan trup yang ditempatkan di lokasi tertentu, pada asalnya untuk mengawal, tetapi kini sering digunakan sebagai sebuah markas pangkalan. Pasukan garison biasanya berada di bandar raya, bandar, kubu, istana kota, kapal atau yang berkaitan. "Garison kota" adalah ungkapan biasa untuk mana-mana kota yang mempunyai pangkalan tentera yang berhampiran.
