Fucuk

Sebungkus kepingan-kepingan fucuk.

Fucuk (Jawi: ‏فوچوق‎‎ , Cina: 腐竹) atau perut tauhu[1]:155-156 (Cina: 豆腐皮) ialah bahan makanan diperbuat daripada helaian kulit yang dikuap daripada kepala air kacang soya yang direbus dalam kuali-kuali cetek.[2]

Peristilahan

Nama fucuk menyerap daripada sebutan bahasa Kantonis perkataan bertulis 腐竹 iaitu fu6 zuk1 dalam Jyutping.[3]

Nama perut tauhu diberikan daripada dialek Baba; ia datang daripada rupanya yang berkedut-kedut seperti perut atau babat babi apabila direndam dalam air sebelum dimasak.[1]:155-156
