Formula Euler

Formula Euler, dinamakan untuk Leonhard Euler, merupakan formula matematik dalam analisis kompleks yang menunjukkan hubungan yang mendalam antara fungsi trigonometri dan fungsi eksponen. (Identiti Euler adalah kes istimewa dari formula Euler.)
Formula Euler menyatakan bahawa, untuk setiap nombor nyata x,
dimana
- adalah asas logaritma asli
- adalah unit imaginasi
- dan adalah fungsi trigonometri.
Richard Feynman menyebut formula Euler sebagai "our jewel" dan "formula terhebat dalam matematik" (Feynman, p. 22-10).
