Footix
Footix ialah maskot rasmi Piala Dunia FIFA 1998. Ia berbentuk seekor ayam jantan, salah sebuah jata negara Perancis, dengan perkataan "FRANCE 98" tertera pada dadanya. Badannya sebahagian besar berwarna biru seperti baju pasukan Perancis. Namanya adalah perkataan lakuran "football" (bolasepak) dan akhiran "-ix" daripada siri komik Astérix.
