Fanfare

Sebarisan pemain trompet memainkan lagu menyambut tetamu di sebuah pesta di Pennsylvania

Fanfare[1] ([fan.fa.rĕ], pinjaman bahasa-bahasa Perancis dan Belanda, juga dipadankan dengan nama "bunyi nafiri" di Malaysia[2]) merujuk kepada penggubahan muzik turutan ringkas lazim dimainkan menggunakan trompet atau mana-mana alat muzik bras yang sering diiringi perkusi.[3]

Gubahan ini ada seberapa fungsi penting; antara sebagai pemula sesebuah persembahan instrumental[4] mahupun sebagai isyarat menyambut dan mengumumkan seseorang tokoh penting seperti sesebuah ketua negara (baik seorang raja atau presiden).[5]
