Europe
Dalam mitologi Yunani, tersebut kisah seorang ratu Phoenicia bernama Europe (Yunani Kuno: Εὐρώπη, Eurṓpē) yang diculik Zeus ketika dewa tersebut menjelma sebagai seekor lembu jantan putih. Dia dibawa ke pulau Kriti di mana dia melahirkan anak-anak Minos, Rhadamanthus dan Sarpedon.[1] Benua Eropah dinamakan memperingati kisah ini.
