Eupleres ialah genus bagi dua spesies mamalia euplerid bak cerpelai asal Madagaskar yang dikenali sebagai pelanuk (falanouc). Mereka biasanya jenis daratan dan banyak mengkonsumsi invertebrat.

Etimologi

Perkataan falanouc dalam bahasa Malagasi dikatakan berkait dengan perkataan pəlanuk dalam bahasa Barito, yang seturunan dengan perkataan Melayu: pelanduk. Peralihan semantiknya dikatakan agak janggal namun kededua binatang ini mempunyai kesamaan dari segi saiz dan perawakan.[1]

Senarai Merah IUCN menyenaraikan E. goudotii sebagai terjejas,[3] sedangkan E. major ditaksirkan sebagai terancam.[4]
