Elk, atau wapiti (Cervus canadensis) merupakan salah satu spesies rusa terbesar di dunia dan salah satu mamalia terbesar di Amerika Utara dan Asia timur. Ia dahulunya disangka merupakan subspesis rusa merah (Cervus elaphus), namun bukti daripada kajian 2004 tentang DNA mitokondrial menunjukkan bahawa kedua-dua spesies ini adalah berlainan.[3]
