Edwin August[1] (20 November 1883 – 4 Mac 1964) merupakan pelakon, penulis skrip dan pengarah filem Amerika Syarikat ketika era filem senyap. Beliau telah muncul dalam 152 buah filem dari tahun 1909 sehingga 1947 selain mengarahkan 52 buah filem dari tahun 1912 dan 1919. Beliau pengasas bersama Eaco Films pada tahun 1914.[2] Dilahirkan di Saint Louis, Missouri, beliau meninggal dunia di Hollywood, California pada tahun 1964 di usia 80 tahun.
