Edward Bellamy (26 Maret 1850 – 22 Mei 1898) adalah seorang penulis dan sosialis Amerika, yang paling dikenali disebabkan oleh novel utopia karyanya yang bertajuk Looking Backward

Edward Bellamy lahir di Chicopee, Massachusetts. Bapanya adalah Rufus King Bellamy (1816–1886), seorang pendeta Baptis dan keturunan Joseph Bellamy.[1] Ibunya, Maria Louisa Putnam Bellamy, adalah anak perempuan kepada pendeta Baptis bernama Benjamin Putnam

Bellamy berkahwin denganEmma Augusta Sanderson pada tahun 1882 dan dikurniakan dua orang anak.
