Early Abstractions ialah koleksi tujuh filem animasi pendek yang dicipta oleh Harry Everett Smith antara tahun 1939 dan 1956. Setiap filem adalah antara dua dan enam minit panjang, dan dinamakan mengikut susunan kronologi di mana ia dibuat. Koleksi itu termasuk Nombor 1-5, 7, dan 10, manakala Nombor 8 dan 9 yang hilang diandaikan telah hilang.[1]

Pada tahun 2006, Early Abstractions dipilih ke Pejabat Pendaftaran Filem Kebangsaan oleh Pustakawan Kongres untuk "kepentingan budaya, sejarah, atau estetik".[2] Arkib Filem Akademi memelihara filem 1, 2, dan 3 Abstractions.[3]
