Cryptocercus kyebangensis | |
Cryptocercus ialah genus Dictyoptera (lipas dan sekutu) dalam famili Polyphagidae, yang mana genus ini satu-satunya ahli. Spesies ini dikenali sebagai lipas kayu (wood roaches) atau lipas perang berhud (brown-hooded cockroaches). Ia ialah serangga xilofagus subsosial, dijumpai di Amerika Utara dan Asia.

Cryptocercus dikenali kerana berkongsi ciri yang banyak dengan dengan anai-anai, dan kajian filogenetik menunjukkan genus ini lebih bersaudara dekat dengan anai-anai berbanding dengan lipas lain.
