William Clark Gable (1 Februari 1901 – 16 November 1960) merupakan seorang pelakon dan pegawai tentera Amerika Syarikat, yang digelar "Raja Hollywood".[1] Beliau memulakan kerjaya lakonannya sebagai pelakon pentas dan muncul sebagai watak tambahan dalam filem senyap dari tahun 1924 sehingga 1926, sebelum menjadi pelakon pembantu untuk beberapa buah filem Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer pada tahun 1931. Tahun berikutnya, beliau mula memegang watak utama dan bertahan selama tiga dekad dengan lebih daripada 60 buah filem.

Gable pernah memenangi Pelakon Lelaki Terbaik Anugerah Akademi untuk It Happened One Night (1934),[2] dan tercalon untuk Mutiny on the Bounty (1935) dan Gone with the Wind (1939).

Antara filem terkenal Gable adalah Red Dust (1932), Manhattan Melodrama (1934), San Francisco (1936), Saratoga (1937) Boom Town (1940), The Hucksters (1947), Homecoming (1948), dan The Misfits (1961), yang menjadi filem terakhir beliau.[3]

Filem terakhir Gable, The Misfits (1961), menyatukan beliau bersama Marilyn Monroe (yang juga filem lengkap terakhir Monroe[a]).

Institut Filem Amerika Syarikat menyenaraikan Gable di tempat ketujh sebagai legenda lelaki perfileman klasik Amerika.[2]
