Chrysogaster ialah genus lalat bunga kecil dalam subfamili Milesiinae.[1] Ia berwarna gelap atau hitam dengan pantulan berwarna-warni bersinar dan selalu dapat dilihat melawat bunga di kawasan berpaya di mana larva akuatik hidup. Spesies dalam genus berkaitan Melanogaster, Orthonevra, Lejogaster dan Riponnensia dahulunya dilayan sebagai ahli Chrysogaster.
