Chelmonops ialah genus ikan bersirip ruji kecil, iaitu bagang dalam keluarga Chaetodontidae. Tidak seperti taburan tropika utama kebanyakan bagang di laut, Chelmonops terbatas di perairan pesisir berhawa sedang dan subtropika di belah selatan Australia.

Nama genus ini adalah gabungan nama genus Chelmon ciptaan Georges Cuvier sebagai genus tempat asal C. truncatus, dan kata ops yang bermaksud “menggambarkan”.[2]
