Chaca ialah satu-satunya genus ikan bermisai dalam keluarga Chacidae. Ia dikenali umum dengan nama keli katak.[1] Ikan aneh ini biasa hidup setempat dan banyak menghabis masa tanpa bergerak.

Nama Chaca diberikan kerana ketika dikeluarkan dari air, ia berulang-ulang mengeluarkan bunyi "chaca".[2] Hanya C. chaca yang berbunyi begini; spesies lainnya tidak.[3]
