Cape Timur ialah sebuah provinsi yang terletak di Afrika Selatan. Ibu kota provinsi terletak di Bhisho. Provinsi ini memiliki keluasan 169,580 km² dan jumlah penduduk 6,527,747 (2007). Cape Timur dibentuk pada tahun 1994 dari wilayah tanah air bebas Transkei dan Ciskei, serta sebahagian timur Provinsi Cape. Provinsi ini merupakan daerah asal suku Xhosa dan tempat lahir banyak tokoh utama Afrika Selatan, seperti Nelson Mandela, Thabo Mbeki and Charles Coghlan.
