Calotes ialah genus cicak dalam klad drakonin keluarga Agamidae. Genus ini mengandungi 29 spesies. Beberapa spesies dikenali sebagai cicak hutan, cicak kebun atau tengkelasak,[2] sedangkan spesies C. versicolor disebut sebagai sesumpah kuning. Nama genus Calotes terbit daripada perkataan Yunani Καλότης (Kalótës), yang bermaksud ‘cantik’, merujuk kepada corak yang cantik genus ini.[3]
