Brontotheriidae ialah keluarga mamalia pupus yang tergolong dalam ordo Perissodactyla, ordo yang merangkumi kuda, badak sumbu, dan tapir. Secara dangkal, mereka kelihatan agak seperti badak sumbu dengan beberapa tanduk hidung tulang yang sedang berkembang, dan merupakan antara mamalia terawal yang telah mengalami evolusi saiz badan besar beberapa tan. Mereka hidup sekitar 56–34 juta tahun yang lalu, sehingga sangat dekat dengan Eosen.
