Botnet
Rangkaian bot atau botnet (drpd. bot network) terdiri daripada beberapa peranti dihubungkan kepada Internet yang nengendalikan bot. Rangkaian ini dapat digunakan untuk melancarkan serangan penafian-perkhidmatan teragih (distributed denial-of-service attack), menjalankan pencurian data,[1] menghantar spam, serta membenarkan penyerang menembus masuk peranti yang disasarkan melalui hubungannya. Pemilik tersebut mengawal botnet melalui suatu perisian arahan dan kawalan (command and control software) khas.[2]
