Bognera ialah genus tumbuhan berbunga monotip dalam keluarga Araceae. Spesies tunggal yang mendirikan genus adalah Bognera recondita. Perkataan recondita yang bermasuk "tersembunyi" merujuk pada kenyataan yang tumbuhan ini hanya ditemukan di kawasan jauh Brazil Amazon, berdekatan sempadan Peru. Spesiesnya ditemukan pada lewat 1970-an dan pada asalnya ditempatkan dalam genus Ulearum, selaku Ulearum reconditum Madison, Aroideana 3: 101 (1980).[1]

Pada 1984, genus baru telah dicipta dalam Taxon jil.33 pada halaman 690,[2] dan Bognera telah dinamakan sempena seorang pakar keladi Jerman, Josef Bogner (b. 1939), yang merupakan ahli botani, pengarah kebun botani di Munich, dan pakar dalam keladi-keladian.[3]

Bognera dipercayai berkait rapat dengan Dieffenbachia.[4]
