Begonia atau asam batu ialah satu genus tumbuhan berbunga saka dalam keluarga Begoniaceae. Genus ini mengandungi lebih daripada 2,000 spesies tumbuhan berbeza. Asam batu ini tempatan dari iklim tropika dan subtropika lembap. Beberapa spesies kerap ditanam di dalam rumah sebagai tumbuhan rumah hiasan. Di iklim yang lebih sejuk, beberapa spesies ditanam di luar di musim panas untuk bunganya berwarna terangnya, yang ada kelopak tapi tiada ranggi.
