Batzen
Batzen ialah duit syiling yang dikeluarkan oleh Kanton Bern, Switzerland dari abad ke-15 sehingga pertengahan abad ke-19. Ia dinamai sempena beruang (Batz, Bätz, atau Petz membawa pengertian "beruang") yang ditonjolkan pada duit syiling tersebut.
Tidak lama kemudian, kanton-kanton Switzerland dan negeri-negeri Jerman selatan mencontohi Bern dan mengeluarkan batzen masing-masing. Duit syling batzen pada asalnya merupakan duit syiling perak tetapi menjelang abad ke-17, ia ditempah sebagai bilon. Dalam sistem kewangan Berne, satu batzen bernilai empat kreuzer.
Dengan pengenalan sistem perpuluhan pada abad ke-19, duit syiling batzen dibahagikan kepada 10 rappen, dengan 10 batzen = 1 franc.
